Membership and Donation

The Animal Welfare Board provides partial monetary help to PFA chapters nation-wide, however, this is not enough to cover all our many activities. Additionally, PFA Kollam Members conduct many fund-raising events to help supplement these funds. PFA is a registered Charitable Trust, which means that all payments, fees, and donations are entitled to 100% tax exemption under Section 35-CCB of Income Tax Act 1961.

Sponsoring Kennels at the new Animal Hospital

PFA has purchased 51 cents of land (20.65 Ares) to build an Animal Hospital with an In-Patient Facility, using donations recieved for the purpose. This will be the first of it's kind in the state (other Animal Hospitals do not have any In-Patient Facility). We are now soliciting donations towards construction of the building, kennels, and fences necessary to start functioning. Our target amount to cover the costs is Rs.6,00,000/-. Sponsors of kennels or blocks of kennels will be given the honour of dedicating it to anybody of their choice. The dedication will be recorded on the finished kennels. We have calculated the following costs of construction:
